Srdjan Bulat

Srdjan Bulat graduated in 2010 from the Music Academy in Zagreb (Croatia),  where he studied with Darko Petrinjak. In July 2014, he obtained a Master of Art degree from the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied as the recipient of the prestigious ABRSM scholarship. He further specialized in classical guitar music written by contemporary Croatian composers, completing a second postgraduate degree at the Music Academy in Zagreb in September 2015.
 
Srdjan Bulat is a prize winner in many international guitar competitions, including first prize at the Andres Segovia Junior Guitar Competition, Verbert (Germany, 2002), the Anna Amalia Junior Guitar Competition, Weimar (Germany, 2003), the Fernando Sor Guitar Competition, Rome (Italy, 2008), the Ferdo Livadić Competition for Young Musicians, Samobor (Croatia, 2009), and the Darko Lukić competition for young Croatian musicians in Zagrab (Croatia, 2012). He has also won numerous special awards for the best interpretation of Spanish music, which is featured prominently in all of his recital programs.
 
He has performed solo recitals all over the world and has released two solo CDs, the first for RTVE (Spanish National Radiotelevision) and the second under the prestigious recording label Naxos (September 2012).
