Carlotta Dalia

Carlotta Dalia (Grosseto, 25 August 1999) began to study classical guitar at age 8 with Alessandro Nobili, and later Alessandro Benedettelli, Fabio Montomoli and Aniello Desiderio. At the age of 14, she was admitted to the bachelor course at the Academic Institute of Musical Studies R. Franci in Siena, Italy, where she is currently attending the 3rd year under the guidance of Marco del Greco. She is also a student of Frédéric Zigante and has attended master classes by Marcin Dylla, Gianpaolo Bandini, Adriano Del Sal and Arturo Tallini. Since 2013, she regularly attends master courses held by Carlo Marchione at the Municipal School of Arts in Rome, Italy.

From the age of 12, when she held her first solo recital, she has performed at numerous festivals in Italy and abroad. She is already a prize winner at many national and international competitions, among which first Prize at the National Competition G. Rospigliosi, Lamporecchio, Italy (2010, 2012, 2016 and 2017); the Guitar Competition Etruscan Riviera, Piombino, Italy (2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2017); the International Guitar Competition Young Guitarists, Mottola, Italy (2014); and the International Guitar Competition Pittaluga Junior, Alessandria, Italy (2014).

In 2016, she released her debut album Gran Solo, which was presented during the program Arpeggio, on Radio Vaticana. She plays guitars by luthier Andrea Tacchi (2015), and since 2016 she is a D’Addario Artist.
