Fabian Cardozo discovered the guitar at an early age and was first taught by his father. In 2005 he obtained his degree in music performance from the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán. He continued his studies at the Musik-Akademie Basel, Switzerland, under the direction of Professor Pablo Marquez, receiving a Master of Arts in Music Performance in 2010 and a Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy in 2012. Fabian Cardoza gave both solo concerts and with chamber ensemble and orchestra in Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Germany and Switzerland. He won third prize at the 2^nd International Guitar Competition Maurizio Biasini  in Basel (Switzerland, 2013) and  first prize at the Enrico Mercatalli Chamber Music Competition (Italy, 2013), at the 5^th International Miguel Llobet Guitar Competition (Spain, 2009), at the 1^st Maria Luisa Anido International Guitar Contest (Argentina, 2008), the 7^th International Pau Casals Competition - Guitar Section (Argentina, 2007), the 4^th International Guitar Competition (Bolivia, 2006) and the 4^th Colegio Northlands National Guitar Competition (Argentina, 2005). In 2006, Fabian received a scholarship from the National Foundation of Arts in Argentina. He currently lives in Basel, Switzerland, where he teaches guitar.
